| REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS
2010 TWO YEAR STRIA VASCULARIS PROJECT The National Organization for Hearing Research requests proposals for a two-year project concerned with hearing loss whose underlying basis is a disruption of lateral wall homeostasis. The proposad studies should involve strial or spiral ligament pathologies that have a genetic, vascular or metabolic origin. Research with potential translational significance is encouraged. The award will be funded at the level of $25,000/year for a period of twoyears, beginnning in January 2010. Applications will be reviewed by a special ad hoc Scientific Review Committee.
