2011 ANNUAL RESEARCH AWARDS
In January 2011, The National Organization for Hearing Research Foundation will award grants of approximately $20,000 each, primarily in the form of Seed Money, for exploration into innovative biomedical research areas in the preventions, causes, treatments and cures of hearing loss and deafness. NOHR encourages proposals related to biological restoration of hearing.
Clinicians and researchers qualified in the field of auditory science may apply. Applications from researchers in other disciplines who will conduct research directly relevant to auditory science are also encouraged. Grant support is provided for one year. Applications are reviewed by the NOHR Foundation's Scientific Review Committee.

Friday, October 8, 2010 is the due date for applications.
Applications may be submitted electronically as a pdf file or Microsoft Word file to grants@nohrfoundation.org. Please compile and send all the materials in the order requested in Sections 2 & 3 of the application. As this is the first year NOHR is accepting applications electronically, please retain a copy of your application for your files, in case there is a problem with your submission.
